Project Funding
Do you have a project idea with which you would like to contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine? The BMZ will support you with advice and funding.
develoPPP
With develoPPP Classic, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) supports companies that invest sustainably in developing and emerging economies, including Ukraine and aim to expand their local operations. Eligible projects must be economically viable and provide a clear development impact. Through competitive calls held twice a year, European and Ukrainian companies can receive grants ranging from EUR 100,000 to EUR 2 million, provided they contribute at least half of the project costs. Funding decisions are made within the framework of these idea competitions.
Hospital Partnerships
The Hospital Partnerships programme supports cooperation between non-profit or public health institutions in Germany and partners in Ukraine. It funds projects focused on professional exchange, training, and knowledge transfer to sustainably improve the quality of medical care. Eligible costs include travel, training and capacity-building activities, as well as limited equipment and administrative expenses. Projects can receive funding of up to EUR 50,000 for a maximum of two years, with follow-up funding possible.
EIT Raw Materials
EIT RawMaterials is the world’s largest network in the raw materials sector and is supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union. Its mission is to strengthen Europe’s competitiveness across the entire raw materials value chain. EIT RawMaterials regularly launches funding calls for projects ranging from extraction and recycling to the development of new material solutions, open to companies, research institutions and partners from Horizon Europe countries.
