Europa und Afrika - Gemeinsam neue Partnerschaften bauen

Die Wirtschaftsprognosen für viele afrikanische Länder haben sich in jüngster Zeit deutlich verbessert. Verschiedene Initiativen der EU und der Bundesregierung sollen die Bedingungen für den Handel und Privatinvestitionen verbessern. Trotzdem scheuen sich viele Unternehmen noch vor konkreten wirtschaftlichen Engagements auf dem afrikanischen Kontinent.

Der diesjährige Außenwirtschaftstag Architektur, Planen und Bauen (AWT) am 11. Februar 2020 im Auswärtigen Amt Berlin bietet unter dem Motto "Europa und Afrika -  Gemeinsam neue Partnerschaften bauen", die Möglichkeit zum Austausch mit Wirtschafts- und politischen Experten. Exporterfahrene Unternehmen und die Verbände der deutschen Wertschöpfungskette Bau, Vertreter des Auswärtigen Amts und anderer Bundesministerien sowie weitere Institutionen mit Afrika-Expertise erörtern zudem Strategien für einen erfolgreichen Markteintritt auf dem afrikanischen Kontinent. In Workshops und Paneldiskussionen soll es des Weiteren darum gehen, in welchen Bereichen die Expertise deutscher Architekten, Ingenieure und Bauunternehmen am dringendsten gebraucht wird, welche Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten es gibt und wie Wissenstransfer generiert werden kann.
