As part of the official EU Green Week Partner Events, the Circular Economy Roundtable will take place on Wednesday, 2 July 2025, at AH Hotel & Conference in Accra, from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The event is hosted by key European and Ghanaian stakeholders and brings together leading voices from government, development agencies, private sector innovators, and EU institutions to explore sustainable and scalable solutions in waste management.
Structured around four critical themes – plastic, textile, organic, and electronic waste – the roundtable offers a platform for dialogue and collaboration among policymakers, businesses, and development actors. Each thematic block includes a 30-minute presentation of an EU-funded or EU partner-backed project, followed by a panel discussion featuring experts and practitioners sharing real-world insights.
In addition to rich content sessions, the Visual Showcase Corner will spotlight selected circular economy interventions supported by the EU and its member states in Ghana. The day’s agenda also includes a networking lunch to encourage meaningful exchanges and future collaboration.
Key Highlights:
- Opening remarks by the Delegate of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana, the German Ambassador, and the Managing Director of Zoomlion Ghana
- Thematic sessions on plastic, textile, and organic waste
- Panel on innovative financing and circular business models
- Visual Showcase Corner and networking opportunities
