Technical cooperation (TC) is a form of development cooperation in which partner countries receive support through advisory services, training, institution building and technology transfer. The aim is to establish sustainable structures to enable these countries to achieve their development goals independently in areas such as education, health and administration. Implementation is usually carried out by state organisations such as the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
