Partners in Transformation – supporting your international ambitions

Under the umbrella of Partners in Transformation, the BMZ brings together programmes for companies in working with future markets in the Global South.

BMZ groups its programmes for supporting companies with different development cooperation challenges under the Partners in Transformation umbrella. These programmes are interlinked and, depending on requirements, offer advisory services, financing, market access, supply chain support or assistance with establishing long-term partnerships.

Partners in Transformation: working together with the big picture in mind

Development cooperation projects are complex and present companies with a whole range of different challenges. Some companies require financing opportunities, while others need support with meeting legal requirements or are looking to find reliable partners in the emerging economies of the Global South. To meet the different needs of the private sector, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) pools several specialist services under the Partners for Transformation umbrella. These services are closely interlinked and together support companies in implementing projects successfully.

Each of these programmes has its own remit. Together, they form a network that supports companies in different project phases.
